Amanda BrennanYear 5 Grade Leader / Newman Facilitator

I am an enthusiastic educator who strives to make learning engaging and relevant for students. Providing opportunities for students to set goals, take risks in their learning and be challenged, allows them to develop as creative and critical thinkers. I believe that as educators, we need to work in partnership with students and parents to meet the learning and social and emotional needs of our students.

Area of Responsibility:
As the Newman Leader, it is my role to coordinate whole school processes that support the identification of gifted students and ensure that learning experiences are differentiated to meet student needs.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:
In 2022, I joined the staff at St John Bosco Catholic Primary School, Engadine. Prior to this, I was the Newman Facilitator at St Finbar’s, Sans Souci. In my teaching career, I have held many other classroom and leadership roles across a number of schools. I hold a Masters of Gifted Education (with Excellence) and a Masters of Religious Education.
